About Jayeblog
I’m Jason Eberle (eb-ər-lee). On the web I tend to go by Jayeb (jay-eb) because it’s shorter and I feel like I have more ownership of it. I have to share my real name with a bunch of other people, including a doctor and a professional golfer. If you search “Jason Eberle” on Google, those people come up a lot more! But Jayeb suits me just fine and doubles as a nice five-letter domain name for myself.
I grew up in a Boston suburb, went to school at RIT in Rochester, New York, and now I live and work in San Francisco. I’m a developer, a designer, and a web-geek, fascinated by javascript, interface design, typography, technology, and details. I’m also a dilettante barista, hooked on the juice after spending my college years making coffee at the Leaf & Bean in Chili, New York. I’m currently employed as a developer at Odopod, a digital studio in Hayes Valley. In my spare time I climb rocks.
This is primarily a personal blog, but I try to write things that might interest other people. I indulge my ego by writing about personal projects and my own life events, but I also write about broader topics like the web, design, typography, and coffee.
If you want to learn more about me, I recommend checking out my website and my portfolio of work. You can also contact me by email at eberle.jason@gmail.com, or on AIM as jayeb333.
